Why Yoga and Therapy?

  1. Yoga is an excellent roadway to creating and strengthening the mind body connection.
  2. Yoga introduces you to your many body parts and how they work in conjunction with one another.
  3. Yoga increases your level of body awareness and your ability to embody your life experiences. Embodiment of our life experiences makes them tangible instead of abstract.
  4. Emotional tension is stored in the body. Yoga works directly with the body to release this tension and create a sense of physical, mental and emotional ease.
  5. Yoga postures undo your habitual movement patterns which are related to habitual behavior and thought patterns.
  6. Evidence shows that yoga can relieve Depression and Anxiety among other issues.
  7. Yoga can be done independent of psychotherapy sessions or in conjunction.
